I have started a another blog for the KSU Uganda study abroad. It allows a little more flexibility for posting from my mobile and it also allows for easy picture slideshows. I will post information on both and link to the pages so there is no need for you to follow both pages.

I am looking to move this blog to another blog site. When this happens I will make sure to link the updates to both places. Lots of things happening with KSU's Uganda Study Abroad lately.

happened last week in East Uganda. I believe this is Northeast of
Kampala and not too close to close to where we are going to be.

This is a reminder that the deadline for applying for the Summer 2010 session is February 1st.

If you are planning on going, please apply ASAP. If you are planning to wait till the last moment please let me know since it will help for planning purposes. There is a high chance that the amount of scholarship for this program will be around $1,000 of which $750 is guaranteed.  If you have questions, please contact me.

Here is a statement by Dr.Dan Paracka, Director of Education Abroad.
 
Not only is regular federal financial aid applicable to study abroad (including travel costs), but all degree-seeking KSU students who participate in this program are eligible to receive a Global Learning Scholarship of up to $2,000. Once you have applied for the program you will be automatically considered for an award (No additional application is needed). Please follow this link for more details:
